16-year-old author Queen Maadiah Johnson presents her book to Martha Udom Emmanuel, wife of Akwa Ibom governor

“Children raised from unstable homes and arbitrary marriages are likely to produce kids who lack self confidence and are easy target as disciples to cult groups and other crimes, including rape, gender based violence, drug abuse, and other gangster like crimes prevalent in our society today.”

Queen Maadiah Johnson author of the mystery novel ‘clawed to death’ currently selling on Amazon, said this was a generation ill-wind that would blow no good. Maadiah stated this as a resource person presenting a paper at a sensitization workshop tagged girls uphold your dignity organised for secondary school girls by FEYREP – family empowerment and youth re-orientation path; pet project of her Excellency wife of the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State Dr Mrs Martha Udom Emmnauel.

She thanked her excellency and her team for staying resolute in the fight for the freedom of the girl child. She acknowledged the immense effort by FEYREP in rehabilitating young women, orphans and homes that have been wrecked by all forms of abuses across the state. She also express gratitude to the governor’s wife for providing over 46 houses for widows and indigent families, securing interest free loan for women in the communities and providing healthcare, legal and other social support to vulnerable women

Maadiah in her paper presentation titled raised them queens insisted that the curve can be altered significantly when young men and women of the present generation are deliberately raised confident and purposeful as kings and queens.

The event which had the wife of the Governor and chairperson FEYREP as the special guest of honor also had other resource persons including Dr Mrs Angela Ashong, The commandant NDLEA Mrs who also presented papers on various topics to the school girls who came as delegates from all secondary schools in the state.

Maadiah had seized the moment to present her book clawed to death to the wife of the Governor Dr Mrs Martha Udom Emmauel.

In her official remarks the special guest of honour, Dr Mrs Martha Udom Emmanuel Chairperson FEYREP, also used the event to pass gifts items including sanitary towels and toiletries to the delegates while admonishing them to identify and stay focus on their purpose. She cautioned the girl child not to be distracted, but concentrate on getting a better version of themselves as the days of self development cannot be skipped if dignity, honor and respect must be commanded.

Meanwhile Maadiah Johnson who is also the progenitor of the socio-political teen leadership network raise them queens initiatives registered in Nigeria is planning a campaign tour across Africa in a bid to sensitize the girl child on her essence and values,
