Mr. Babajide Otitoju who is currently the Group Head, Current & Public Affairs of News (TVC News) at TVC Communications owned by the presidential candidate of All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has stated that young people all over Nigeria are suoporting Labour Party candidate, Peter Obi because APC and PDP have failed them.
He disclosed this during an interview on TVC.
Otitoju said:
“Peter Obi is gaining popularity daily with young people in our country because the young people are not the traditional voting block. Young people for so long has been apolitical and only interested in music and entertainment. But EndSARS changed a lot of things and a lot of the young people with Obi are products of the EndSARS struggle. A lot of them are angry. Other Nigerians who were not in the EndSARS protest also see Obi as the finest of all the contestants. Politicians are seen as evil by people. They see Obi as better than others and a new broom that will help sweep away the problems of the country. A lot of young people are disappointed in both the APC and PDP….”
