Retired Brigadier General Jones Oladeinde Arogbofa, a former Chief of Staff to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has passed away at the age of 72.

Brigadier General Arogbofa was commissioned into the Nigerian Army in 1973 and had a distinguished military career. He served as Chief of Staff to President Goodluck Jonathan from February 10, 2014, to May 29, 2015.
The late Arogbofa received education from prominent institutions, including Obafemi Awolowo University, Rochester Institute of Technology, University of Alabama, United States Army Command and General Staff College, University of Lagos, and University of Ibadan.
