FAAN suspends airport taxi service at Abuja airport

Airport taxi service at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, has been suspended by Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

FAAN said the decision was taken due to unresolved factional disputes amongst the car hire operators which has been affecting airport car hire service operations.

The suspension is effective immediately. Airport users and passengers have been advised to use secured alternative means of transportation or e-hailing services in and out of the airport pending the resolution of the dispute. 

FAAN’s Director of Public Affairs & Consumer Protection,  Abdullahi  Yakubu-Funtua said; 

“The FAAN wishes to inform the general public that the airport car hire service at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja has been suspended with immediate effect.
