The Paramount king of Ndigbo in Ghana, and the Assistant Publicity Secretary Association of Ndieze Ndigbo in the Diaspora, HRM Dr Chukwudi Ihenetu has joined other word leaders to congratulate the Queen of England and Commonwealth Head of state, Queen Elizabeth 11 on her celebration of Platinum anniversary.
The event which started on Thursday in the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth states celebrated the Queen as the first British monarch to mark 70 years on throne.
On Thursday, thousands of people gathered in central London for the traditional Trooping the colour ceremony and spectacular fly past of Buckingham Palace.
In a statement from his Obiukwu Obieziokwu Palace in Ghana, the Umuduruoha Amigbo Nwangele Imo state -born Royal Father thanked God Almighty for giving the Queen long life in good health to witness this year’s epoch event.
Going down memory, HRM Dr Ihenetu recalled that the Queen in her youthful days visited Nigeria on and before independence and most Nigerian children of that age bracket grew up to know her as the Queen of England.
