Emirates to commence operations in Nigeria

The Minister of Aviation, Mr. Hadi Sirika has given a go ahead to Emirates Airlines to fly into Nigeria upon issuance of visas to Nigerians by United Arab Emirates.

The minister disclosed this today via his verified twitter handle.

“UAE has written to state that they agree to issue visas to Nigerians, consequently decision has been reached to allow Emirates to fly into Nigeria. Commencement of the Visa issuance is condition precedent. Please bear with this unusual situation. Many thanks” He tweeted.

It will be recalled that Emirates Airline was initially banned from operating in Nigeria by the Federal Government.
