Breaking: INEC declares Gov Fintiri winner of Adamawa Guber election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared the incumbent governor of Adamawa State and PDP candidate, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri winner of the governorship election.

Fintiri won with a total votes of 430, 861 to defeat his closest rival APCs Aisha Binani who garnered 398,788 votes.

Reacting to his victory, Governor Fintiri wrote on his Twitter handle:

“Alhamdulillah, victory to the people of Adamawa state! I still remain a governor for all. No one will be left behind and nothing will be left untouched.”
