A popular Arewa X influencer has knocked his fellow Northerners who are attacking Peter Obi for not attending late Buhari’s funeral.
An X user @WASPAPPING had on Tuesday after Buhari’s burial taken to social media to criticize Obi for failing to attend the funeral of the former Nigerian leader in Daura, Katsina state yesterday, July 15.
Reacting to the post, another popular Arewa X user, @ibrahim_mikayi, pointed out that some other Northern leaders did not attend the funeral and so Obi should be singled out for criticism. He stated that if Obi had attended, the same Northerners would have accused him of trying to politicize the funeral.
