2023 Presidency: 350 support groups purchase, present nomination form for Anyim Pius Anyim (Photos & Video)

Amidst funfare and jubilation, over 350 Anyim support groups across Nigeria stormed PDP headquarters in Abuja on Thursday to obtain presidential nomination and expression of interest forms for former senate president, Anyim Pius Anyim.

Prominent among the groups is the United Nigeria Group (UNG) whose members urged Nigeria to vote for Pius Anyim whom the believe will united all Nigerians and stabilize the country.

During the brief ceremony at PDP Wadata Plaza in Abuja, UNG members expressed optimism that Anhyim will clinch the ticket as the party’s presidential candidate. The mammoth crowd that came for the purchase of the forms, thereafter moved in a carnival to present the forms to Anyim at his campaign office located at the Garki Area of Abuja.

Anyim who was present to receive the forms expressed gratitude to his supporter who believes in his capacity to lead Nigeria to become a prosperous country.

“You have demostrated faithfulness and commitment to Nigeria, I want to assure you that God has prepared you for a time like this. I am sure that you have taken a lot of trouble to raise the funds for the purchase of these forms. I want to assure you that by the time we run Nigeria for the first one year, the condition of living in Nigeria will be such that you will count it profitable to have been part of this journey.” Anyim told his supporters.

Four candidates so far has purchased the presidential nomination form from the Peoples Democratic party. They include former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. former Senate President Bukola Saraki, Governor of Bauchi State Bala Mohammed and Anyim pius Anyim.
